Help support Carnival with our Silent Auction
Are you looking for a treat for yourself, or for someone else? You’d like a new experience, and also you want to help Aldeburgh Carnival? Look no further – welcome to our Silent Auction!
What is a silent auction?
Silent auctions are auctions held without an auctioneer by placing written bids. At the predetermined end of the auction, the highest listed bidder wins the item.
Aldeburgh Carnival is fortunate to be supported by a wealth of local businesses and organisations, all of whom provide us with incredible, diverse lots to suit all tastes. These may be goods, gifts, activities or much more besides. Funds raised are ploughed back into arranging Aldeburgh Carnival, and allows us to support other local charities and organisations every year with donations from the proceeds. There are over 30 lots on offer which have been generously donated by individuals and businesses within the community to add to their support. So please do not regard it as an opportunity to ‘pick up something on the cheap’ but as a means of offering your own support.
How do I bid?
View the lots and make bids on our brand new dedicated auction page on the link below:
If you prefer to come and see us, you can continue to bid in person at the Silent Auction site on the Moot Hall Green over Carnival.
The auction ends at 3pm on Sunday 20th August 2017.
